Realm of Aeris is a multiplayer survival base-building game featuring grounded, cinematic combat in a medieval fantasy world. Key Features
Hardcore Survival
Players must stay hydrated and fed to explore. Exploration includes risks like poison, infection, or a broken leg, requiring players to prepare meals, secure water, and cure their ailments to survive or buff themselves up before combat.
Classless Skill System
The game features an elaborate skill system focused on mastering skills by performing them, naturally increasing them without needing to choose a character class. This reaches into all gameplay elements, from combat and crafting to governing and gathering.
Modular Base Building
Players can build a freeform keep within a claimed area, which can be transformed into a castle with outer walls and gatehouses. These can all be upgraded with battlements or anti-siege equipment to defend foes.
Flexible Hosting Models
Official servers feature dedicated wipe time-slots to keep the community active and provide the thrill of an ongoing wipe. Additionally, players can host their own Peer2Peer or Dedicated servers customizable for PvE, PvP, and Hardcore game modes.

- A discovery-based system where players find parts and recipes in the world to unlock higher-tier equipment.

- Survival systems for hydration, hunger, and status effects including poison, infection, and broken legs.
- Gathering & Refinement
- Interactions for mining, digging, woodcutting, fishing, hunting/skinning, and plant harvesting.

- A system for respawning at beds, hunter camps, or churches, with server-dependent death-loot drop rules.

- A 4-part weapon customization system where individual parts alter stats and visual appearance of the archetype weapons.
